Dues are $15.00 annually****Hiking and Trail Guidelines: ** Be courteous & stay behind the leader unless directed otherwise.** Offer $.15/mile to driver when carpooling. * *In the event of inclement weather, the hike may be canceled.** Please leave your pets at home.**If unable to keep a club commitment, please find a replacement. * Wear blaze orange during hunting season (Sept 1 to last day of Feb). * Appropriate footwear and attire should match the type of hike.** If you leave the hike early, notify the hike leader or ask someone to do that for you.** Bring water and food as the hike description and weather demand.* * Hiking involves risk. Thursday July 9, 2026 - MUHLENBERG RAIL TRAIL

4 miles easy

Leader will take us on a 4 mile hike on the Muhlenberg Rail Trail. We will traverse the entire trail, then return. This is a flat, easy hike. Lunch with Al N. afterwards.

DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of Routes 222 and 61, take Route 61 south toward Reading. Turn left onto Tuckerton Rd. Cross Bus 222 (5th St Highway), then turn right on 8th Ave. Go 1 block, turn left onto Mt Laurel Rd. Go straight at the traffic light at Kutztown Rd, then about 2 blocks. Turn right into the trailhead..
