Saturday May 28, 2016 - Birdsboro Watershed Memorial Day Hike

5 to 6 easy miles

We will hike along Hay Creek and explore the climbing wall near the old quarry but will NOT descend the rocky trail to the quarry floor. Instead, we will retrace our steps and walk down to the creek crossing where hikers may ford the creek or cross it on a wire bridge. Bring water shoes or a towel to dry off wet feet. We will then walk down to the creek crossing at the rustic picnic park, again with the option of a creek crossing. Crossings are optional – as is lunch after the hike. Unless all hikers want to cross the creek, the group will not proceed to the other side. We will return by the road with an optional excursion to the Stinson Creek Reservoir. Bring snacks.
