Saturday March 27, 2010 - Let's Try Again! -Struble Trail & Dowlin Forge Park, Chester County

Approx 5-6 Miles (Hopefully without SNOW this time!)

This is a RESCHEDULE of the Feb 13 hike that was snowed out; Rich graciously suggested trying a this again instead of his hike at Green Lane. Four people showed up on Feb 13 and we ended up on Thun Trail instead for about 100 feet and making "snow angels" before we gave up! So here goes...

Take a pleasant walk along the beautiful Brandywine Creek in Chester County on the Struble
Bike-Hike trail and see historic remnants of the Dowlin Forge in Uwchlan Township. Car pooling is suggested because of limited parking. We’ll hike and then reflect on the sights seen during lunch in the Chester County area.

Meeting place: 9:00 am, Boscov’s East parking lot (east end), Business Rt. 422 East, Exeter Twp.
