Dues are $15.00 annually****Hiking and Trail Guidelines: ** Be courteous & stay behind the leader unless directed otherwise.** Offer $.15/mile to driver when carpooling. * *In the event of inclement weather, the hike may be canceled.** Please leave your pets at home.**If unable to keep a club commitment, please find a replacement. * Wear blaze orange during hunting season (Sept 1 to last day of Feb). * Appropriate footwear and attire should match the type of hike.** If you leave the hike early, notify the hike leader or ask someone to do that for you.** Bring water and food as the hike description and weather demand.* * Hiking involves risk. Saturday September 26, 2026 - BRYN COED PRESERVE

~ 5 miles, moderate

We will be making a loop around the preserve.  There will be a mix of open, grassy meadow trails and dirt woodland paths, which can be muddy after rain. There will be a few short hills.  If the weather is nice, hikers could bring a picnic lunch and eat at nearby Opalanie Park. 1422 St. Matthews Road, Chester Springs, PA   

MEET and TIME: 10:00 AM - in the main parking lot for the preserve, 1869 Flint Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425

DIRECTIONS: Take route 422 or route 724 east, past Birdsboro and Douglassville, to Pottstown. Turn right onto route 100 south.  Travel 4-5 miles and make a left onto Pughtown Road.  Travel about 5 miles and make a right onto St. Matthews Road.  Travel about 1 mile and turn left onto Flint Road. In just a few hundred feet turn left into the parking area.  There will be a reddish Natural Lands sign.   Address: 1869 Flint Road Chester Springs, PA 19425

Saturday September 19, 2026 - OAKS HIKE

Approx. 5 miles   Easy to medium

This is an easy hike mostly on a level land from Oaks through Collegeville. We can plan a total of 5 mile in and out hike depending on the group

Lunch: There are a number of Indian restaurants in this area. We could try "Dawat" if the group is into it

1st MEET & TIME: 8:15 AM Boscov’s East parking lot, 4500 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter 19606

2nd MEET & TIME: 9:30 AM Lower Perkiomen Valley Park at Oaks  

DIRECTIONS: Take Route 422E to the Oaks exit. Turn Right at light then Right again into the park.

Saturday September 12, 2026 - BARTRAM TRAIL

Approx. 4-6 miles Flat

This is an in-out walk.  We can do as much or as little as people want.

Lunch is optional afterwards.

MEET & TIME:  9:30 AM at parking lot on Kernsville Dam Road

DIRECTIONS:  Take Route 61 North. Go past route 78 thru the construction zone.

Turn RIGHT onto Jetson Road at the traffic light (Starbucks is at the corner).  At the T turn RIGHT onto Industrial Drive. Continue till you cross the Railroad Tracks.Turn LEFT onto Kernsville Dam Road. Park in Large Parking lot.
