Thursday July 16, 2026 - SWATARA STATE PARK

5 miles

Hike will be led on a 5 mile loop (A2) hike in the Mountain Bike Complex section of Swatara
State Park. Since this is a short loop, we will meet at Trout Run and hike to the Complex entrance.

If you want a shorter hike, you can meet us at the State Park Lane; mountain bike parking lot at
10:30. Please let leader know if you are using this option.

MEET: 10 AM at Trout Run Trailhead. Facilities at this trailhead.

DIRECTIONS: Take 78W to 81N exit at the first exit (Lickdale/Route 72/Ft Indiantown Gap) turn left at top of exit ramp and left at the traffic light onto Route 72 North. The trailhead parking lot is on the right approximately 3 miles; if you get to Rt 443, you went too far.

Google Maps or Waze: Enter “Trout Run Trailhead” and select “Trout Run Trailhead Swatara”
Do not use Swatara State Park in your GPS, it will take you to the North end of the park, MILES away from Trout Run.
