We will hike a section of the Thun Trail that connects the towns of Gibraltar and Birdsboro. There will be plenty of views of the Schuylkill River, old neighborhoods, old stone homes and some wilderness along the river. This will be a one-way shuttle hike. Inclement weather cancels the hike.
Meeting place: 9:30 am at parking lot of the Matthew Brooke building in Birdsboro
Directions: From 422 eastbound take a right onto 345 south and continue for about one mile. The Matthew Brooke building is the first office building on the left after the bridge over the Schuylkill River. Take the next left onto Armorcast Road and another left into the building’s parking lot. GPS ADDRESS: 321 North Furnace Street, Birdsboro 19508
