Tuesday January 1, 2019 - Polar Bear Dip Hike without the Dip

4–5 moderate miles

Although this annual dip has been moved to another location, we will keep the tradition alive by leading the hike to the Myerstown Quarry, where we will probably see many others who did not know that the Polar Bear Dip is being held somewhere else. This will be a loop hike. We will return along country roads and go to Dutchway for the pork and sauerkraut buffet. Bundle in layers, it’s usually cold.
