Saturday September 21, 2013 - Port Clinton Fire Tower / Appalachian Trail

6 to 7 miles

How about a fall hike in the Blue Mountains? Perhaps some of the leaves will be changing! This is a shuttle hike. We will start at the fire tower and walk to the Gold Spring for a taste of the refreshing “mountain dew” from the ever flowing spring. We will then go south on the AT and stop to see the Panther Spring and end our walk at a hunters parking lot.

Meeting place: 9:30 am, Redner’s parking lot in Leesport off Rt. 61 North
