Saturday October 11, 2025 - TREXLER NATURE PRESERVE (LEHIGH COUNTY)

7 strenuous miles

We will be starting our 7-ish mile hike using the southern parts of the Border Loop trail (many elevation changes, some steep). Next, our route will cover trails through the central part of the park, some of which are level, while others have quite a bit of elevation change. We will finish our trek using the northern and central sections of the Border Loop, which again, have multiple elevation changes. As a reward we will be treated to beautiful views on the way. This route eliminates the more challenging parts of the Border Loop and is a good choice for hikers who are not sure they are ready for the full 9.5 mile loop.
